Our great state joined the union in 1837, but only after a sound win over our neighbors to the south. Michigan won the incredible slice of heaven, the Upper Peninsula and to this day we are the only state comprised of two peninsulas. This coffee celebrates that victory, our statehood and our motto, "Si Quaeris Peninsulam Amoenam Circumspice." In Latin this means, "If you seek a pleasant peninsula, look about you." Our 1837 is a dark and full-bodied, espresso style roast perfect for any brew method you choose.
